Ah yes, December.
The huge D at the end of the year. The month of holidays. The nightcap of months. Gateway to another twelve of the unknown.
Here we are at the end of another one. 2015 was full of amazing things, but 2016 can be full of even amazinger things if we could all unite and yell about stuff just a little bit more on the Internet.
Here's my wishlist for 2016:
• Non-exploding hoverboards
I'm sure you have your own list of good things to look forward to, but I like mine.

Let's Encrypt is Coming!
A lot of traffic on the Internet is sent in plaintext by default, which has the unfortunate side effect of making it observable to anyone with the right listening tools.
The US government (among many others) was recently shamed into revealing their own surveillance programs thanks to the 2013 revelations of NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden.
All of this serves as great backstory to help you understand the importance of the "Let's Encrypt" project.
In a nutshell, Let's Encrypt aims to bring encryption to every site on the web, and it plans to do so by issuing secure certificates free of charge to anyone who requests them.
Earlier this month we pledged to fully support Let's Encrypt natively in our control panel. You can read a bit more on our blog:
